The Internal Revenue Service requires you to enter your social security number in the boxes provided; the Social Security number is required so the internal Revenue Service can accurately locate your tax return and subsequently locate your Income Tax Refund Status.Once you have inputted your Social Security number, you will be asked to choose your filing status: either a single; married-filing jointly; a married-filing but separate return; a head of household; or a qualified widower. Following the submission of this information, you must then enter the refund amount in the space provided by the Internal Revenue Service.
